MIDLAND - The Patriot Guard will still be hitting the road to honor our veterans.
On Thursday, the City of Midland cut them a break on the Special Events Ordinance.
The Patriot Guard had appealed to the City Council saying they couldn't afford the $2 million insurance policy.
Now they don't have to worry about that.
The city says they will consider them as an honor procession, similar to a funeral procession.
That means they don't have to get the insurance or the special event permit.
