ODESSA - ECISD officials have taken action against both a student and teacher involved in a fight.

By law, district administrators cannot release public details of personnel or student discipline matters. The incident was handled according to the guidelines established in the ECISD
Employee Handbook and the ECISD Student Code of Conduct.

Back on March 27, ECISD police began investigating a complaint of fight between a teacher and student. After interviewing a large number of witnesses, police turned over the evidence to the City prosecutor's office for review. The review proved inconclusive and no criminal chargers were filed.
