MITCHELL COUNTY - It was a heart stopping scene in Coahoma when a Union Pacific train crashed into an 18-wheeler near the town of Westbrook.
Everyone involved was able to walk away to tell their story.
The accident happened at mile marker 202 on Interstate 20 around 4:30 p.m.
Officials tell NewsWest 9, the train slammed into the back of a water truck.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital but only for minor injuries.
The intersection is equipped with stop signs instead of warning lights or crossing arms.
Union Pacific tells NewsWest 9 they'll be investigating as to why the driver didn't stop and let the train pass.
The vehicle involved was a Globe Water Transportation truck.
