Two Men Behind Bars After Aggravated Robbery in Odessa

ODESSA  - Two men are behind bars after a robbery at an Odessa business.

Officers were called out to World Finance in the 3600 block of North Dixie in Odessa around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, a victim reported to them that two men wearing masks entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money.

The clerk handed over an undetermined amount of money and a witness saw the suspects flee the business in a red Dodge pickup.

The witness followed the pickup until police got in the area.

When police showed up in the area, the suspect tried to get away from officers but crashed into a vehicle parked at 21st Street and Bonham.

No injuries were reported in connection with this incident.

The suspects were later identified as 21-year-old Jeremy Ramos and 27-year-old Anthony Bernal.

Both men are facing charges of aggravated robbery, which is a first degree felony.
