Two Amarillo men await sentencing after conviction in a November armed robbery

Two Amarillo men are awaiting sentencing after both were convicted in a November armed robbery.

Authorities say Donald West robbed the First Bank Southwest at 34th Street on November 5th.

He has been convicted of aggravated bank robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon, and using a firearm during a violent crime.

The man's nephew, David West was also convicted of unlawful sale of a firearm after police discovered he provided Donald West the weapon used in the crime.

Both men will be sentenced in June.
