MARFA - Students in Marfa will have to do without a junior or high school principal next school year.
Current principal Cyndi Wimberly agreed to go back to the classroom to try and help the district save money.
Superintendent Andrew Peters says he will be serving as the secondary principal next year while he continues to lead the school district.
The Marfa School District is expected to have about a $600,000 deficit at the end of the fiscal year.
