MIDLAND - Flames sparked up on Wednesday afternoon at Johnny's Barbecue in downtown Midland.
The fire actually broke out in a smoke stack of a barbecue pit behind the restaurant.
When firefighters arrived, flames were coming out from underneath it.
The fire was put out quickly.
It's believed brisket drippings sparked the flames.
Minor fire and smoke damage was reported.
Johnny's Barbecue tells NewsWest 9, they should be opened back up for business on Wednesday night.
