ALPINE - Alpine residents are grieving the loss of former Mayor Mickey Clouse.
The former commissioner was an Ambassador for Alpine, Brewster County and the Big Bend Area.
Clouse worked with the county on several community projects including the purchase of a ladder truck for the Alpine Volunteer Fire Department.
According to the Alpine Chamber of Congress Facebook page, Clouse had been living in El Paso since early this month.
