A Hobbs teen sentenced to four decades in prison for murdering an elderly woman.
17-year-old Juan Rivas, Junior, was given the maximum sentence for that and other crimes.
Rivas was found guilty of stabbing 83-year-old Clara Alvarez to death back in 2011.
He was later caught driving around in her car.
When asked about the murder, police say Rivas told them he wanted to let his anger out.
