MIDLAND - It's a done deal between the Midland City Council and Midland County Commissioners.
The city bought the old Midland County Courthouse for 2.2. million dollars.
Plans for the former courthouse site on Wall Street would include a state-of-the-art mixed-use high-rise to anchor ongoing downtown revitalization efforts.
The city is looking at a five-star hotel, office space, retail, residential space and an entertainment center in the downtown area.
