Texas is getting more help for the wildfire recovery efforts from 2011 but only one county in West Texas is eligible.
The state was given a $400,000 federal grant.
It will fund temporary jobs for the cleanup and recovery efforts.
That pushes the Texas total to more than $1.2 million.
32 counties around Texas are eligible for the help but only one West Texas County made the list.
That would be Howard County.
The move may be puzzling to some considering the counties of Jeff Davis and Presidio had one of the worst wildfires in the state's history.
