HOBBS, N.M. - There seems to be a lot of fake money floating around Hobbs, New Mexico.
Now authorities are on the hunt for the person passing out those bills.
Police say they've seen an increase in counterfeit bills at several convenience stores and banks in the past week.
Law enforcement officials report seeing fake tens, twenties and fifties.
Using the fake cash is considered a felony, which could mean significant jail time for anyone caught with the phony bills.
