A former District Attorney for Gaines County will have to pay the price for a night of drinking and driving.
54-year-old Brian Kingston pled guilty on Thursday morning in Gaines County to driving while intoxicated.
As part of a plea agreement, he was initially given 30 days behind bars but that was suspended.
Instead he's being placed on six months of probation and will have to pay a $750 fine.
He'll also have to spend 15 hours in a DWI education program.
Kingston was pulled over back in September of 2011 with a blood alcohol content that was almost three times the legal limit.
