WEST ODESSA - Some West Odessans had a big scare on Thursday morning.
It sounded like an explosion went off.
Turns out, it wasn't even close.
Centurion Pipeline says they were just performing a routine test.
They tell us they were rushing water into pipelines to test them.
The water was sent at high pressure which triggered a break in an older pipe.
No one was hurt.
Officials say this kind of testing is common.
