MIDLAND - A motorcyclist is recovering in a Midland hospital after taking a nasty spill on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened around noon near the intersection of Wall Street and Midland Drive.
Police say an SUV was trying to turn onto Wall Street and pulled out in front of the motorcyclist.
He tried to avoid a crash but swerved off the road and lost control.
He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and is expected to be fine.
The driver of the SUV was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
