HOBBS, N.M. - A violent murder in Hobbs, New Mexico and police say a child saw it all.
Police say 27-year-old Timmithy Stover gave his girlfriend meth right before a fight.
He then forced 28-year-old Candiace Boone into his car and drove her to a friend's house on Kansas Street.
Investigators say he flashed a gun and forced the two people at the home to help tie her up.
We're told Stover beat her and made one of the people in the house record it on a cell phone.
Boone was then dragged to a bedroom and beaten again before being left alone.
One of the people in the home later checked on Boone and found her unresponsive.
Police say a child was in the home and saw it all.
Stover faces several charges including murder and child abuse.
