Man Indicted on Nine Counts For Deadly Christmas Eve Shooting

ODESSA - A man accused in the shooting death of his wife and the shooting of his step-son has been indicted on nine counts.

L. C. Davis, Jr. faces a number of charges including one count of murder, three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of assault family violence.

Davis allegedly shot and killed his wife Venesta Davis back on Christmas Eve. He is also accused of shooing his step-son Andrew Thurman.

He is currently being held in the Ector County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
