DPS makes three meth busts over weekend

Amarillo, TX - Three separate traffic stops in Carson County over the weekend nab hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of methamphetamine.

Saturday afternoon, DPS troopers pulled over a vehicle along I-40 just east of Conway, and reportedly found more than 2,700 grams of meth inside the front passenger door.

That evening, another stop east of Conway led to the seizure of over 1,900 grams of the drug allegedly found in a suitcase.

And Sunday morning, troopers say they found roughly 3,400 grams of meth during yet another traffic stop.

Altogether, the drugs are valued at more than $700,000 dollars.
