MIDLAND - Two men remain behind bars after leading DPS Troopers on a chase over the weekend.
20-year-old Richard Elrod and 19-year-old Ricco Marin are facing felony charges of evading arrest.
It happened in downtown Midland late Friday night.
Troopers attempted to stop a truck around 10 p.m.
Instead, the men led police on a chase at speeds that exceeded 80 miles per hour.
The chase ended about 30 minutes later near Loop 250 and Thomason Drive.
