A Pecos County deputy made a big money and drug bust while checking on a stranded driver.
We're told 23-year-old Lucas Smith of San Antonio was spotted at a rest area on Interstate 10.
The deputy says he found Smith highly intoxicated.
He stumbled on a big surprise when he searched the car and found $54,000 in cash and crystal meth.
