LOVINGTON, N.M. - The City of Lovington is considering an ordinance that would ban synthetic drugs.
City Commissioners got their first look at the ban at their meeting on Monday night.
It's the same ban that was adopted in Hobbs and Eunice last month but with a small change.
It would also charge the business caught selling spice and bath salts for testing the synthetic drugs.
Officials are expected to vote on the ban at one of their next meetings.
