Local hospitals prepared to cover shifts with full staff

Amarillo, TX - While many were able to stay at home today, area hospital employees had to be at work.

Northwest Texas Hospital tells us they have day and night crews on hand, and BSA has a handful of employees with 4-wheel-drive vehicles to pick up their crew for tonight.

Crews at both hospitals are prepared to get their rest at the hospital and be ready to take on their next shift.
