LEA COUNTY, N.M. - One man is behind bars accused of murder.
Police arrested 32-year-old Woodrow Dunn, Junior after investigators say he shot 52-year-old David Rogers of Hobbs in the head.
We're told Rogers was giving Dunn a ride from an oilfield site to Lovington.
The pair stopped along the Tatum highway where they met Dunn's dad who was picking Dunn up.
Dunn got in his dad's truck and when his father went to get Dunn clothes out of Rogers car, that's when Dunn grabbed his dad's shotgun and shot Rogers.
His father managed to get the gun away and call authorities.
Investigators say before the shooting, Rogers had told Dunn's dad that Dunn was acting strangely.
