FORT STOCKTON - A routine traffic stop in Fort Stockton led to the discovery of some big money and a weapon.
The Pecos County Sheriff's Office pulled over a pickup on Valentine's Day for a traffic stop.
The driver allowed deputies to search his truck and that's where they found $30,000 and a 40-caliber handgun.
The driver, Julian Lozoya and his passenger, Rogelio Tarrango, are charged with conspiracy to distribute one kilo of cocaine.
