BALMORHEA - The case of a missing Reeves County teenager is now considered one of the top twelve cold case investigations by the Texas Rangers.

16-year-old Monica Carrasco went missing back in 2003 from Balmorhea.

Authorities say she went missing from her home in Balmorhea where she was staying with her relatives.

When her room was searched, it revealed she either left or was taken from the room wearing only a beige nightgown.

Her bible was also missing.
