ALPINE - Several people in Alpine are fuming. It's all over possible misuse of credit cards by Alpine city employees.
However, a special meeting that was held on Tuesday night was cut short after barely getting started.
One council member called for adjournment after the it was made known the city manager was out of town and would not be at the meeting.
The Mayor then adjourned the meeting without a vote and that's when community members exploded.
Residents, and even a councilman, objected to the meeting coming to an end.
One councilman has requested another special meeting be held on Friday.
