Minimum Wage in New Mexico

Posted: Updated:

New Mexico - Regarding jobs in New Mexico, a proposal to increase the minimum wage there has stalled in a house committee.

The proposal would have increased the minimum wage to eight dollars and 50 cents an hour.

But it failed by only one vote and remains alive for possible reconsideration later.

There's also similar legislation in the senate to raise wage level to the same rate.
