Midland Man Arrested for Allegedly Setting a Car on Fire

MIDLAND - Setting a car on fire got a Midland man in hot water on Monday morning.

According to police, 32-year-old Jesse Mendoza was arguing with his mother when he poured gasoline on a car and sparked the blaze.

Mendoza was arrested for arson.

The car was burned but fire crews kept the flames from spreading.

No one was hurt.
