The body of a man found in the Pecos River has been identified.
Carlsbad Police say it was 42-year-old Andres Romero from Taos, New Mexico.
According to the Carlsbad Current Argus, there were no signs of a struggle or foul play.
Medical examiners are now running a toxicology screening to see what was in his blood stream.
Romero was found dead in the water near a camp that housed several homeless people.
