Jeff Davis County Expected to Break Up Drug Trafficking Ring

JEFF DAVIS COUNTY - Jeff Davis County expects to be busting up a drug trafficking ring soon.

According to Big Bend Now, 12 people have been indicted.

They're expected to be arrested in the next few weeks.

The group is accused of bringing in pot from Mexico to stash houses in Jeff Davis County before shipping it north.

District Attorney Rod Ponton expects around 2,500 pounds of pot, money, guns and property will also be seized.
