GARDENDALE - Passing out in his car with a child in the backseat turned out to be a bad idea for a man in Gardendale.
Police found 24-year-old Kasey Varnadore asleep in his car on Tuesday night on Conroe Street.
They also noticed his two year old son in the backseat.
While cops were questioning him, Varnadore appeared to be drunk.
He passed the breathalyzer test but failed four other field sobriety tests.
Officers determined he was high, not drunk.
