A postal worker helped bust a drug trafficking scheme in the Basin.
Investigators say 36-year-old Ifrica Norman was shipping in ecstasy from California to the Basin.
According to the criminal complaint, Norman says he was given $3,500 by a person in Midland to travel to California, buy the pills and have them shipped back.
The scheme was busted by a postal inspector.
There were two separate packages. One had more than 500 pills and was mailed to Odessa. The other had 900 pills and was mailed to Midland.
When the package was delivered to a home in Odessa, Norman accepted it.
That's when agents moved in with a search warrant.
Officers also delivered a package to Midland but no one answered.
