MIDLAND COUNTY - Rushing on the road proved to be costly for one driver.
Right now, the driver remains in critical condition after getting into a bad wreck in Midland County.
The accident happened on Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators say the driver was trying to merge onto Highway 349 South.
When she moved to get on the highway, she cut off a semi then was hit by a pickup in her blind spot.
The impact pushed her car into a fence.
The driver and her passenger were both taken to the hospital.
Her passenger's condition is unknown at this time.
