Historic Plane Crashes in Reagan County, Mechanical Problems to Blame

REAGAN COUNTY – A historic plane crashed on Friday afternoon in Reagan County.

The plane was having mechanical problems and tried to land on FM 1357.

According to the Reagan County Sheriff's Office, the pilot attempted to land on FM 1357 but saw an oilfield truck coming his way so he veered off the road and ended up in a field.

The pilot was the only person on board.

No one was hurt.
