UPTON COUNTY - The search has been called off for three suspicious individuals who were spotted near the Upton/Reagan County line.
Upton County received a 9-1-1 call Friday morning. The caller reported three people crossing Highway 67 just east of Rankin.
According to the caller, one of the individuals was carrying a rifle. Authorities searched the area, but never found anyone.
Residents have been advised not to open their doors to strangers and to report anything suspicious.
