Aggravated Assault on an Officer

Amarillo, TX - An Amarillo woman is behind bars after a fight with a police officer.


A female officer was sent on a disorderly conduct call to the four-hundred block of Crockett Wednesday morning.

The officer attempted to arrest 32-year-old Brandi Reeves.

Reeves reportedly fought the officer until another arrived on scene and tased her.

The first officer was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Reeves is charged aggravated assault on a peace officer and disorderly conduct.
