Big Spring Man Accused of Having Relationship With a Child, Beating Her

BIG SPRING - A Big Spring man who is no stranger to the law was formally charged this week for injuring a child.

Holston Banks, III, was accused of having a relationship with a minor and then beating her.

However, he was only indicted for attacking her.

In a separate incident, Banks was also formally charged for evading.    

If his name sounds familiar, that may be because he was arrested last July for a drive-by shooting at a birthday party where four people were hurt.
