MIDLAND - What happens when you text and drive?
Midland High students found out on Wednesday.
They tested out a simulator.
Students were able to experience first-hand what it's like to drive while distracted without being in any real danger.
AT&T hosted the event as a way to enlighten students about the dangers.
They say texting is the number one way teens communicate and that one text can make drivers travel the distance of a football field without looking at the road.
