IHOP raising money for local charities

Amarillo, TX - Today a popular restaurant plans to raise thousands of dollars for several local charities.

For National Pancake Day, IHOP will be serving a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes to all customers who come dine between 7am to 10pm.

With every short stack served, diners will be invited to make a donation to designated charities, including Shriners Hospitals for Children, St. Jude's Hospital and Toys 4 Tots.

Our local IHOP hopes to raise around $3,800 and the nationwide goal is $3 million.
