Police investigate wreck involving a Canyon ISD school bus

Police are investigating a wreck involving a Canyon ISD school bus.

The accident happened around 4:00 Monday afternoon at the intersection of 58th and Tradewind street.

State troopers on the scene tell us the driver of the Canyon school bus ran a yield sign just before the pick-up hit the bus and caught fire.

The bus was carrying 12 students at the time of the wreck.

Police say all the kids, along with both drivers, were able to escape with no serious injuries.
