MIDLAND - One man was transported to the hospital after a car-pedestrian accident in Midland.
Midland Police Department officers responded to a pedestrian accident just after 11 a.m. Friday morning at Andrews Highway and Midkiff Road, where they found a man in the middle of the roadway with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation showed that the man had been running northbound across Andrews Highway and failed to yield right of way to the driver of a black Mazda pickup who was traveling westbound on Andrews Highway.
The runner was not in a crosswalk and was not crossing at the intersection.
The runner was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital.
No charges are expected to be filed in this case.
