Nuclear Storage Facility Could Come to Big Spring

BIG SPRING - A new nuclear storage facility could make its home in Big Spring.

AFCI Texas LLC held a town hall meeting today to discuss the possibility of bringing the nuclear storage facility to Big Spring. AFCI is also eyeing New Mexico as a possible location for the facility.

If the facility is built in Texas, 30,000 new jobs would be created. It would cost $154 million to build.
