ODESSA - Testimony began on Wednesday in the murder trial for an Odessa man.
26-year-old Christopher Redic is accused of shooting and killing a man in a hotel parking lot in 2010.
On Wednesday, a crime scene technician showed pictures of the gruesome crime scene to jurors.
Prosecutors say a nine-millimeter shell casing, a three inch blade kitchen knife and a baggie filled with a white substance was found in Redic's jeep.
Redic fled the area after the shooting but was caught in Temple, Texas.
Witnesses say an argument between the two men led up to the shooting.
