ECTOR COUNTY - Traffic came to a crawl in Odessa on Tuesday evening when a car slammed into a utility pole on Interstate 20 near FM 1936.
The crash knocked power lines over the Interstate.
Eastbound traffic was diverted to the service road but even a few big rigs barely cleared the lines, missing them by inches.
We're told the car collided into the pole in the westbound lanes.
There's no word if anyone was hurt.
