A Midland infant is in the hospital after its leg was snapped by an adult.
23-year-old Jose Rosado was arrested in Lubbock on Monday.
Police say the five-week old infant was brought into Midland Memorial Hospital on Monday morning with a broken femur.
An investigation revealed that Rosado was taking care of the child when it happened.
The baby was airlifted to a Lubbock hospital and a warrant was issued for Rosado's arrest.
