HOBBS - A Hobbs man is behind bars accused of murder. Officers were called out to the 1900 block of North Blanco Sunday evening for a shots fired call.
Officers found 33-year-old Stephen De Moss with a gunshot wound. De Moss was transported to Lea Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
23-year-old Emilio Romero has been arrested and charged with first degree murder. He's currently being held in the Hobbs City Jail on a one million dollar bond.
