WEST ODESSA - New information on a body found in a car in West Odessa.
It turns out that car belongs to a missing teen from Monahans who disappeared from Odessa back in September.
Isabel Hernandez, Timothy Soto's mother, says she got a call from Odessa Police on Friday afternoon that she had been dreading.
She says she was told her missing son's red Camaro had been found with a body inside.
The mother tells NewsWest 9, she was told the plates matched her son's and that the car looks like it had been there awhile.
The body couldn't be identified and was sent to Fort Worth for an autopsy.
She says they didn't tell her how long it would be before she would find out if it was in fact her 19-year-old son.
The car was found hidden in the brush in a field just off Interstate 20 between Moss and FM 688 on Friday afternoon.
Back in September, Hernandez called NewsWest 9 to tell us that her son had been missing for a week.
She said the night before he went missing, she received a strange phone call from him and that he seemed scared.
Soto's wallet, ID and debit card were left at his apartment in Odessa.
On Friday, Odessa Police said evidence at the scene could be related to case from September.
As you can imagine, Hernandez was very distraught after receiving the news.
