MIDLAND - The Midland Police Department has some good news.
They saw an almost six percent decrease in crimes last year.
The biggest drop was the amount of burglaries; they went down by 21 percent.
Robberies were also down by about 10 percent.
Unfortunately, the number of aggravated assaults went up about 27 percent.
