GARDENDALE - A Gardendale man is now behind bars for running another man over with his car.
25-year-old Brent Green is facing felony manslaughter charges for the death of 26-year-old Caden James Hall.
Police got a call around 9:30 p.m. to the 7900 block of Goldenrod on Monday night.
They were told that hall had fallen and hit his head on railroad ties.
When police arrived, investigators figured out from witness interviews that Hall had been run over by a car, rather than just falling down.
Hall was taken to Medical Center Hospital where he later died.
The investigation is still ongoing while authorities wait for an autopsy to be done.
