Stormtracker 9 Meteorologist

Sundal joined the Stormtracker 9 Weather Team in January of 2013. You can watch her forecasts every Weekend Evening on NewsWest 9 at 6pm and 10pm. She comes to West Texas from Miami, FL, to start her career as a Meteorologist. Living in South Florida, she experienced all types of severe weather.

Her interest in weather started as Hurricane Ernesto was passing through her hometown. She decided to become a Meteorologist so she can learn and forecast severe weather. She has a Bachelors in Meteorology and a minor in Communications from Florida Institute of Technology.

During college, she was an active member of the American Meteorological Society and the International Student Association. She also interned as a Meteorologist at WFTV and WPLG.

Sundal has always tried to help and supports foundations such as the Aga Khan Foundation and Partnership Walks.

In her spare time, Sundal enjoy spending time with her family and friends, shopping, volunteering, traveling, going to the beach and watching movies.

She is really excited and happy to be part of the Stormtracker 9 Weather Team.
